17R SE 7720 - Your hard drive size is not supported for this process. Please use a hard drive at least 931 GB in size. All I did was change the hard drive from 500 to 420, I miss the old days like ffteen years ago

Solution
1: Back up your current drive
2: Wipe your drive and reinstall using the Dell recovery disks
3: Use GParted to shrink the size of the OS partition
4: Use a free utility like EaseUS Disk Copy to clone the drive onto the SSD

http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.php
http://www.easeus.com/disk-copy/home-edition/

For instructions on making bootable disks/USB drives:

Sounds like your trying to clone back a PC? If you are using EaseUS forget it. It will only clone back to the same size or Bigger. Has NOTHING to do with Dell. Try using macrium reflect. Best imagine software I have ever used. Ever. For just partition Resizing then I use EaseUS partition Master.

But you still make it unclear to totally what you are doing though?
