I mean that any program that needs to be loaded from disk will likely start faster if they are on the SSD. So for instance, your game might get to the start page faster when you first click it (and maybe loading new levels), but when actually playing your FPS is going to be limited by things like you CPU and GPU... not your SDD\HDD. I'm sure there is some exception like if you are using fraps to record while playing.

uhmmm well I'm running windows 7 64 bit, fx6300 cpu, and gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 mobo if that's what you were asking

But to be safe, what do you mean by applications loading faster? You mean like the time it takes google chrome or a game to start up after I click them?
