Hello,

I am new to the overclocking world and picked myself up a Sabertooth FX990 R 2.0 Mother board a Corsair TX 850M power supply, a AMD FX 8320 CPU, and a Corsair H100i watercooler.

Now that i have listed what i have i am trying to find some guides or advice on how to overclock as i do not want to fry my CPU or anything like that. I hear stuff like voltages but really need a helping hand or advice that will help me get the best OC for my computer.

You should be able to get a moderate overclock without touching voltages, a quick overclock is as easy as raising the multiplier to 19 for 3.8 GHz, My 8320 doesn't like going higher than that, but i've not spent much time trying to get it higher. Keep in mind that with an 8320, the chip was binned as lower quality and it could be for a reason, it could be that your chip didn't pass testing to be an 8350 and couldn't run cool/stable enough at 4.0 GHz, but it could just be one that was clocked down to fill out stock. Your mileage will vary.
