Hello Tom's Hardware!
I'm new here, so hopefully my question is being posted in the correct area.

I've been researching and experimenting for a looong time to figure out the answers to some questions, (more like one question, but has some sub-questions). Tom's hardware seems like my last hope at the moment.

The question is, what are the PC equivalent settings to console graphics, (talking more of XBOX 360 area). In basic terms, I am trying to find the graphical settings on some PC games to match up with console; I'm doing this because my laptop is pretty bad - not as bad as a console however - so I've decided that console graphics aren't bad, and I do not really care for a what a game looks like, but to a certain degree.

The games that I am looking for the equivalents of are the following:

Fallout 3 (Xbox 360)
Fallout: New Vegas (XB 360)
Crysis 2 and 3 (xb)
Grand Theft Auto 4 (xb)
Metro: 2033 for xbox
Battlefield 3 for xbox
and lastly, Skyrim

All I know from console settings (xbox specifically), is that they all run at 1280x720 (I may be wrong) and maybe have 4xAA - as I heard XBOX utilizes built in Anti-aliasing.

Yes, I know this is bizarre, a PC fan wanting console graphics isn't something you see everyday; but I'm strange, :??: and need the assistance. :D

If you can help me with the settings, (at least give some specific qualities) I would be VERY
grateful as I tried everywhere. I might even love you. hehe.

Thanks for reading!

My pc specs if anyone is wondering:

AMD A8 4500M CPU @ 1.9Ghz
Windows 8
AMD 7640g

Most Xbox games run at 720p, but lately a lot of them have had to drop the resolution even lower than that to maintain good performance (Battlefieold 3, Crysis 2 and 3, Metro), also most new games won't have any AA at all, or maybe a post processing AA effect that is really easy on the hardware.

In terms of console equivalent, The Fallout games, GTA IV, and maybe Skyrim are about equivalent to medium on PC. Don't expect good performance in GTA IV though, it runs horribly regardless of what hardware you have.

Crysis 2 and 3, Battlefield 3 and Metro all run at the equivalent of low (or perhaps even less than that) on Xbox, it is eight year old hardware after all. I would forget even trying to run those games on your laptop, you aren't...

I would forget even trying to run those games on your laptop, you aren't going to get playable framerates on those titles, as they are amongst the most demanding PC games out there, and simply won't run well on any laptop integrated graphics chip, even at 800x600, lowest possible settings. Even most laptop discrete GPUs struggle with those games.

I understand that I wouldn't be able to actually run those games, but I do have a chance if I lower my texture settings, etc, to match with XBOX graphics for those games, it could be possible for me to run it. My card isn't that bad, or so I think.
