So, I downloaded a Windows 7 update back in the beginning of August. After I had installed it, many programs stopped working. When I logged on, a window popped up saying "Catalyst Control Center: Monitoring Application has stopped working" and I could not open any programs or applications besides Google Chrome and My Computer. When I clicked on the icon for League of Legends, the wheel would appear and spin, but after a little bit it would go away and nothing would open. I looked at the processes, and the process appeared after I opened it, but the process went away after a bit. I looked online to see if it was something wrong with the program itself, and I went though the steps I found to fix it. This did not fix it, however. So I restored my system, an it worked once more. I have done this whole process 3 times now, each time I downloaded and installed the updates the same problem occurs. Each time I restored my computer, it worked again, but I still have the problem of not getting any updates on my computer. Finally, I just gave up and turned off the update notification. Does anyone know what is going on here, and what I can do to fix it?
