I purchased a Lenovo H520 desktop computer with windows8 installed. I was able to install a graphics card by going into the BIOS and enabling the Legacy boot mode. The installation of the graphics card went well. When I installed an audio card, the computer wouldn't boot up. I disabled the audio drivers on the computer before installing the sound card. The sound card is a Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio. Any suggestions?

There is where you will find the rules of conduct.

As for your issue, I am assuming it is a PCI card, correct?

It may be a bad card then. Normally a bad PCI card can cause the system to not post or boot.

If its not a bad card then it may not be compatible with Windows 8. The X-Fi series is pretty old and I did have some issues with my old X-Fi working correctly on 8 and 8.1.

You might have to get a newer PCIe card TBH.
