I bought this rig about a year ago as a budget gaming rig. And was thinking of getting this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BXVFM3K/ref=ox_sc_s... 7950. Will it bottleneck at all in most games?

Yes compared to some other CPU's but it will handle it fine and you can always overclock to reduce bottleneck.

probably, but not by so much that it will cause major problems. It would still likely outperform the a10 + 7870 combo so the bottleneck probably won't be that bad. especially if you don't mind trying to overclock a bit to reduce it.

750k with 7970 ,

In cpu dependent games you will see a few less frames but if you decide to overclock the stock cooler is not up to the task. Even with the igfx disabled running discrete. The 7950 is about the best card you can get for the price,
