I just bought an i5-4670k and i plan on overlocking it, but this my first time doing it so I would like to know if there's any important advice that I should consider or any tips. I bought a cooler master 212 evo cpu cooler, and I have it on a gigabyte z87x d3h motherboard, with an antec 750w psu. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I havent overclocked a chip in years or even a intel one at that but my advice is take it slow and build up and when the system reboots remember when you ended at tweak your settings and back it off a bit and set it there at the sweet spot and see how she runs if you over clock it to far and you cant reboot in your windows you may have to reset the bios hope this helps.
