It could be a placebo but I have noticed that my computer runs faster on Windows 7 64-bit vs. Windows XP 32-bit. I just installed Windows 7 64-bit a few days ago. I have also noticed that the videos are better in quality, too. Placebo? Window 7 read 4 gigs of ram whereas Windows XP only had like 3.3 gigs of ram.
Anyway, the question: To a novice user like me, what are the biggest differences between Windows 32-bit vs. 64-bit? I want to make sure I am actually realizing the difference in quality and speed.
My processor is Athlon II X3 64-bit Rana 2.9 GHz.
My RAM is : 2x2 GB DDR3 1333Mhz
