White rectangles all over screen

I keep getting these small white rectangles checkerboarded across my internet browser screen (examples here: http://imgur.com/a/DqtE5). They only ever happen when browsing the net, not when playing any graphically intense games. I've also updated my graphic drivers recently, and run memtest on my RAM, so that isn't at fault.

pc spec:
Operating System: Windows 8 Pro 32-bit (6.2, Build 9200)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: Radeon HD 7850 OC 2GB GDDR5

Thanks for any help in advance

Can you replicate the same problem with another browser (i.e. Internet explorer). Firefox and 7xxx radeon cards have had some compatibility issues. I have seen this before, but only with Firefox.
