The CPU isn't overclocked, stock 2.4 GHz. I can't overclock it because the motherboard i'm using in that build is the nForce 680i SE, which seems to have problems overclocking quads. I'm getting a GTX 560 from EVGA as an RMA. It's the superclocked edition, non-Ti. Will the stock Core 2 Quad limit the performance in this build? Or would the GPU actually be slower? Specs below:
- Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
- 4 GB DDR2 800 MHz RAM
- EVGA nForce 680i SLI SE
- EVGA GTX 560 SC 2 GB
