I am interested in buying the GTX 760 (GV-N760OC-2GD)
http://www.gigabyte.co.za/products/product-page.aspx?pi...

The card requires 1 x 6 pin and 1 x 8 pin connectors, The cards includes 2 x Molex to 6 pin and 2 x Molex to 8 pin.

My PSU is an Omega Isonic 600watt. it has 2 x 6 pin Dedicated connectors but i will have to use the 2 x molex to 8 pin as i don't have a dedicated 8 pin connector.

Will My power supply handle the GTX760 and how does a 2 x molex to 8 pin compare to a dedicated 8 pin ?

See the pictures for further PSU details

Thank you

It depends a bit on what else you have there, but your 600W should be fine, and the molex conversion won't make a difference as you are drawing power from the same place and the wires are all the same.

I know the 760 needs around 30A off the 12v, so it will be cutting it close. Sufficient power on the +12V is the most critical factor, not the wattage.
