The PC I have now is an upgraded Dell XPS 8100, (PSU, Graphics card and case upgraded) so a lot of the old hardware is still inside including the i7-860 processor. A few days ago the motherboard fried, so now I'll have to replace that. The motherboard was a Dell XPS LGA1156. After looking around literally the only motherboard that seems to be compatible is the ASUS P7P55D-E LX 1156, for £92. Shipping for this will take six weeks, and I really don't have the time to wait for that. Dell has also discontinued these boards, and they've proven impossible to find new. Are there any other alternatives, or is this the only board I'm stuck with?
