I use an envy 15, Radeon 7750M HD, 1TB HDD, i7 CPU ..but once in a while, the system freezes, & the "highest active time" on the HDD in the performance monitor goes to 100%. Then from a site i read that it's likely it's a green-fisk that i use. SO i am thinking of changing this. Which is the best HDD??

There aren't many 1tb laptop drives that are 7200rpm so its very probably you have a 5400rpm drive. There is only 1 drive that is reasonable priced and 7200 rpm's but I've sorted the list so you can see the other choices as well.

I ran a few test, found malwares, did a defrag, and the system is performing better. Thanks for the help.
The pending sector count data still remains 16. Or is there a tool i need to download that can fix this??
I also tried to run the HDD test from the HP diagnostic Utility, but it failed.
