I haven't built a computer in well over 10 years and I need a little help.

I am putting together a new HTPC using this motherboard:

MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 (with a A6 5400K CPU)

I wanted to add 8GB of RAM but I can not figure out what the proper model is:

Kingston HyperX M# KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX

-OR-

Kingston HyperX M#KHX1600C9D3K2/8G

They both look identical except for that "X" at the end of the model number and the price difference.

Can someone prod me in the right direction so I don't make a mistake?

Thanks so much.

Both your links are to the same model of DRAM, and wouldn't touch them with a stick, these are 1600 sticks and while not noted in the ads, take 1.65 volts to run, you want a set of 1.5 if going with entry level 1600 sticks, 1.65 is indicative of weak ICs (memory chips)
