amd A-10 processor and memory speed

Need some clarification, I want to
update to an A-10 6800K cpu. I have read
that memory speed between ram and cpu should be the same
as well as ppl that say that as long as mobo is compatible with
ram and the cpu, speed doesnt matter.
The specs of the 6800k say its supports DDR3-2133.
If I have ram DDR3-1600 (8 gigs), i know it will work but is
this OK???? Will this hinder the speed of the cpu? Intel processors
gives you several options and amd in this case only 1.

What do you currently have that makes you want to upgrade, what are your uses for this system, and what is your budget? The 6800k supports up to 2133. 1600 will still work fine. The IGP of the 6800k would greatly benefit in games with 2133 if you had any intentions of gaming on the IGP, which I would not recommend.
  2. It is fine. Your integrated Graphics would benefit from faster memory, but you won't notice all that much of a difference either way.

    first thanks to all!!!
Ok what would be the best thing to update
    with a A10 5800k, msi radeon HD6670 2 gig ddr3.
either update to an A10 6800k or update the graphics card to a 7750
    btw i have a MSI FM2-A85XA-G65 mobo
    thanks
  4. Upgrade your GPU. You really are not going to get much of performance boost changing the APU at this point. For the cost of the 6800k, you could get a much better graphics card than a 7750.

    This exactly.

Take the money you'd spend on the 6800k and use that to get a much better GPU. That will give you MUCH better gaming performance.

Faster ram will give the iGPU a nice improvement, but only in the context of comparing iGPU performance. When it comes to gaming, money is pretty much almost always better spent on a discreet GPU.
