Windows 7 "Dumping Physical Memory to Disk" message - what does it mean?

a little while ago my computer started giving me this error message, a black screen with what I think are codes and then at the bottom it says "Dumping physical memory to disk" followed by a percentage. It does this either right after I turn my laptop on, or after I've logged into my account/settings. It keeps doing it more and more often, today it took me four tries before I could start it up without the message.
I have an Acer Aspire 5349-2481, if that helps.

the solution to your problem lies in typing those codes into a web search window. When windows crashes it dumps the information in memory to disk.

What you see is a BSOD, a blue screen of death. You need at least the first error code from the screen (only the last digets, that are not zeros). Post that here and we may be able to help you.
