I really want to use my graphics card 730m, since it is a lot better than the intel 4000.

yet a lot of games refuse to use it, even when i change the settings in the nvidia controll panel, to force them to use it and not integrated graphics.

i also tried to disable intel graphics in computer properties settings, but it did not help.

in the BIOS mode i can`t find any setting that can change it?

Any help is very appreciated.

i looked through my keyboard, and i cant seem to find any switch/button that does that.

i did enter Bios mode, but found no such setting :/

all bios s will have different options but still should be something around these lines:

bios/configuration/video/
Integrated Graphic Driver-always disabled
Primary Video Adapter-External PCI-E Graphics

you can also try updating your bios (if any is available) and see if these options are added

uefi bios looks a bit different and in designed to support GUI interface using both keyboard and mouse

uefi also enables you to use high capacity hdd s as boot drives. and a few other minor technical advancements.

you can try that out if you are using windows 8

Not all laptops have the option to disable the igpu. I have seen a few that do not have that option or really anything else in the BIOS as the OEM have locked them down tight. Other than that I can't really say as I have not used a laptop with dedicated GPU's. I just do not game on my laptop so it is not something I have needed. But from what I have read the drivers should have the option to choose the GPU you want for gaming.
