unable to install any version of windows

Try playing around with the RAM, you could have a bad drive also. New does not mean 100% working at times 
Maybe check for a BIOS update for the motherboard.

What are you installing them from? You were able to partition and format the drive with no issues during the setup process.
When you said "any version of windows" which ones? Have you used those disks before?

i have tried installing from disc and usb flash drive. Yes i have used each before on other computers but never on this particular one. I am unable to complete any part of the set up process. I boot from the disc and it loads needed files and then goes to black screen with 4 color orbs and says starting window but never takes me past that point.
I have tried windows xp, vista, windows 7, and windows 8. All stop at the same point as if the computer is blocking the install for some reason. I even tried mini xp from HBCD and it stopped at the same point. Never seen anything like it.
