Windows Vista not detecting LB link wireless adaptor

i have a computer that I recently had to re install vista onto as opposed to windows 7 as my computer had previously crashed. my wireless adaptor is now not being detected on my computer, yet it still works on other computers?

Hello LukeJO, please provide t he make and model number of the wireless adaptor.
Make and model of computer and laptop.
Internal or external wireless adaptor?

I'm thinking that might be a bit confused about what a wireless adaptor is and what a wireless router is.
