I'm planning on buying a new PC, and i did some research, and well this is the build i want, but would like to hear opinions from people who are more experienced then i am, what i basically want is a powerful Gaming PC, and also in near future i may use it for 3d modeling/animation.

- Case: Thermaltake ARMOR REVO Full Tower
- Motherboard: Asus Z87-PRO
- CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K Haswell
- CPU Cooling: Noctua NH-D14
- GPU: MSI GTX770 Gaming 4GB
- SSD: Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD 128/256GB
- HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB
- PSU: Corsair HX1050W
- RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8GB DDR3 2133MHz

I chose a powerful PSU for option to add SLI in a few months, not enough money at the moment.
I will be glad for your opinions and suggestions regarding this build, and sorry for my english, it is not my native language.

Solution
The HX850 which provides more than enuff power for twin 770s with overclocked CPU and GPUs and got a 10.0 performance rating. The HX1050 is way oversized and garnered only a 8.5 rating from jonnyguru .....

The more expensive 4GB GFX card will do nothing for you in gaming

The Seagate 7200.14 is 30% faster (193.5) than the WD Black (148.5)

3D animation / 3D modeling generally requires a workstation (Quaddro) class card.

The DH-14 is a great cooler...

The DH-14 is a great cooler.... but it's kinda fugly and loses by a small amount in most tests to the Silver Arrow and Phanteks

Look for low profile RAM to fit under any of the 3rd party coolers

In my office (we game after hours), we use...Asus Z87 WS or Maximus VI Formula.....might wanna take a peek and see if they have anything to offer.

Oooh I didn't know that about those CPU Coolers, the D14 may have some competition to beat to be in my rig now. Thanks for sharing :D

thanks for that :D i was afraid that it may be a problem because the CPU cooler is huge, but didn't know for sure, now will have to choose a lower-profile ram.

Thanks for the reply.
So the HX850 will be enough for 770's SLI ?

About the GPU, in my local store the difference between 2GB and 4GB 770 is like 40$ so i chose the "better one", maybe next gen games will have higher textures, no idea but better safe then sorry...

Nice info on the HDD, thanks for that :) definitely replacing it now.

About the CPU Cooler, those brands that you gave in example are not available in my country :( will have to go with Noctua NH-D14.

Wont this build be enough for 3d modeling/animation ? i mean for now it's for learning purposes. i'm long way from actually working with it.
