Monitor recognized as a "generic non-pnp monitor" In screen resolution settings in Win 7-64 bit
I've a 20" HP 2009M Lcd monitor, and a 470 GTX graphics card with Win 7-64 bit.
I just did a fresh install of everything with new parts and I'm getting "Input signal out of range" "Change settings to 1600x900 and 60Hz" when I try to load any games. A couple work but the majority do not.
My Nvidia control panel wont change from the 85 Hz it's stuck on in "Adjust desktop size and position" I apply and it does not actually apply to 60 Hz it goes back to 85 Hz right away.
Tried installing the HP Monitor driver and it appears to have done nothing.
Tried cleaning the graphics drivers as well and that did not work.
In "Change Resolution" it says my native resolution is 1024x768 , but for some reason I don't recall it being that low, I've ran 1600x900 for ages and have not had this problem before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Been having a heck of a time with this stuff.
