Ive read conflicting information all over the place about stuffing a FX 8320 into a BioStar A880G+ mobo. I have BIOS 080016 from 1.25.2011. Its a black socket AM3. Ive been doing this to it for months now:

Seems to be ok with the heat with an H50 cooler, two 120mm fans on it. (One on each side)

Or I could just suck it up and buy a new Mobo too.

Thanks, but I didnt ask if it was supported. I asked it it would work. If I wanted to know if it was supported, Id type into Google 'A880G+ supported CPUs'.

What Ive read suggests that the board 'doesnt support it' because of 1) its TDP rating of 95W and 2) it simply doesnt support some of the cool little options the chip comes with.

But I dont care about what it officially supports. CPUz reports a 160W TDP on my overclocked and unlocked B55. The board doesnt officially support a 125W TDP CPU either, but thats what a B55 is.

I suppose the best thing to do is just buy my chip and play around. Ill just order a Mobo too if thats what I need. As there are no more answers here, I will assume for now that no one has tinkered around with it as I have read about being done on other sites.
