This is my computer.
CPU : Intel Core 2 duo e8400 @ 3.0 ghz dual core
GPU:XFX ATI radeon 4670 1gb ddr3
Computer"Dell Vostro 200
RAM: 4gb @ 800 mhz
OS: win 7 ultimate SP1

The problem is that games such as dead island rip tide, mafia 2, tombraider.. all used to run well. Medium to high settings at a 1280x720 res. The drivers for the GPU was Microsoft Corp wdm 1.1
Then i installed catalyst, and all the games starting lagging horribly. I couldnt get good fps at the settings i was running before. I tried going back to the old drivers.. didnt work, then i re installed windows. Didnt work. Can someone help? my game is really laggy and i cant play like this!!

I agree. Par for the course these days seems to be 8 GB of Ram, a 4 core cpu, and a 7790/650ti or better gpu.

I'd venture to guess your biggest jump in gaming performance would come from a GPU upgrade. Then again if you were playing games at settings you enjoyed before the most recent update then you're obviously right to suspect the driver update.

Bump to see if anyone else can help with the possible driver issues.
