replacement pump suggestion

Almost 2 years ago, i bought an XSPC water cooling kit with a Swiftech MCP655 pump. Today the pump broke up, it started making alarming loud noise and the pump will only work for 3 seconds then stop for 5 seconds and work another 3 seconds, and so on... Not sure how to describe the noise but it was really annoying...

I must admit i was never happy with this pump as i invested $1000 in water cooling gear ONLY to get a quiet system and the pump was very loud since i got it. Performance-pcs.com didn't listen to my complaint and refused to allow RMA for the pump. So i ended up using it anyway, until today.

Now i am looking for a replacement of at least the same (or greater) quality. Keep in mind that quietness is my first concern and i don't need very big performance (my PC isn't even overclocked).

CPU and GPU will be water cooled, and i already have my 3-fan reservoir.

So i just need a suggestion for a good pump. I would also like to change my 5.25 bay reservoir, i never really liked it because the pump was shaking the reservoir against the metal of my computer case and it was making a very annoying sound.

I would really prefer to go with a pump/reservoir combo that i can just hide in foam at the bottom of my computer case to avoid noise.

i'm not sure what is my tube/fitting size, but according to my invoices from 2012 it would be either:
- Fitting Size 7/16" x 5/8"
- XSPC G1/4" to 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting
- PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Red Tubing -7/16in. ID X 5/8in. OD (PFLEXP-716-R)

Budget is not really a problem but i don't want to spend millions on this...

Oh and i need this ASAP this is urgent, so i need to order from a canadian shop or get it shipped hyper fast with fedex from the USA...

I'm a little bit scared about dual pumps, i had only one pump and hated the noise that came out of it... I'm scared about having twice more noise with 2 pumps... I would prefer only 1, anyway 2X would be overkill for my non-overclocked system

You said in your original post you bought your setup close to 2 years ago, you may have gotten the earlier version of the Swiftech MCP655 without the ceramic bearing, I have 4 Swiftech MCP655s, 2 in operation and 2 as backups, and none of them make any excessive noise at all.

IMO you cannot get a better pump than the MCP655, but you can get a lemon in anything.

Have you checked with Swiftech to see if they would replace it?

If it is a non ceramic bearing model they just might replace it for you, it would be worth a try.

Swiftech does not want dissatisfied customers, that is not what they are all about, they make some of the finest quality products you could ask for, and they know they had an earlier bearing problem with the MCP655.

But it would take too long to replace the pump... 2 weeks to ship it to the company and 2 more weeks to receive my new pump... I need my computer back very fast, i need my PC for my work...

But if you say i can't get better than the MCP655 i may just consider buying another

Any suggestion for a reservoir to work with the MCP655 and that could fit in the bottom of my PC case and that would fit with my tubes and fittings ?

Keep in mind your reservoir has to be mounted above the pump and since you'll be mounting inside the case here are the choices I would spend my money on, I love the Bitspower because you can unscrew the entire black top for quick filling, just make sure it's back on before firing up the pump.
