No ssn stolen computer

I was curious because I bought a used computer I never got my ssn. this last summer I had my computer stolen. I couldn't provide the cops with a ssn, however I still remember the name of my computer. Would it be possible through CMD or some other method to see if it ever goes online, and track down the ip adress to where its at by using my pc's name?

They are not willing to pay someone to spend the time to get all the court orders to get a location based on a IP. Even then it just means they have your password there is still no way to prove the device is yours.

what if they entered my facebook profile by accident... becase I do remember my facebook popping up in a location I have never been to in my life. during about the time after it was stolen.
