Question about power supply in case

my solution for this was to put a small piece of wood under each of the case's feet to get it about an inch and a half off the carpet. You want the bottom facing setup if you can, but definitely don't choke the air to something as vital as your PSU, heat kills electronics, and if you kill your PSU...you might kill the rest of the PC :(
