Hello, I'm thinking of upgrading from my 560 Ti to a GTX 760 and I was wondering if that would be a significant performance jump (I'm currently getting jumpy frames at 1920x1080 in games like Borderlands 2 and Crysis 1 on max settings, and don't even get me started on Rise of the Triad 2013). I've done some research and I know the 770 is better but I really would prefer not to spend 400 dollars for a graphics card.

Also, will an 1100T cpu bottleneck a 760? My processor is still at its stock speed of 3.3 GHz. On another note, I am looking for a single GPU, I was running two 560 Ti's in SLI but did not see a worthwhile increase in performance (and one of the cards' fans died; I will keep the good 560 Ti for PhysX or something). Finally, the specific model of 760 I was thinking about is the MSI 2GB version, but I am open to alternatives.

Any input would be appreciated, and thank you.

the 560 is and was a turd. the 760/770 will blow it's doors off. as stated.......... 7950/7970 price/performance can't be beat right now............ if you have to have nvidia products......................... you can bet your bottom dollar, as soon as, or maybe even before AMD releases their new cards, nvidia will be slashing the prices on their cards to keep up. be patient.

-Your CPU will be fine for a long time. :)
-The 760 would be twice as strong roughly!
-A 7970 is as strong as a 770, and $90 cheaper. Get that!

That's a bit harsh! I thought my two did quite well for what they cost at the time.
