Hi Guys. I need some help here.

I likely will have just one monitor set up, but I do like to do some gaming, and I'd like to to be at 1080p.

Would you recommend the 650, or is that too low? What about the 760?

I do some gaming, but I also run most Adobe programs, as well as Maya and Max.

Oh, and about how equal in general terms would a dual 760 be to a single 780?

So do you think a dual 760 card would be fine for someone with a single monitor (23-17 in wide) that does light gaming in 1080, and also runs programs such as maya/max and adobe ones such as after effects or photoshop.

Thanks so much!

That would be overkill for light gaming. A single 760 will be fine. If you want more power, in general, buy the highest card you can, as opposed to SLI. You get 100% performance, where dual (SLI) cards scale to less than 100% of the performance you pay for.

Honestly i would go dual 760s vs a 780 at 1080p and honestly you can do away with 1 760 and be just fine with the option to go sli in the future. Now if you was gaming at 1440p i would say gtx 780 but for what your trying to do seems like your not gaming as much or could be getting into gaming so yea a 760 would be just fine with going sli if needed in the future. Another thing could be an option is to see what the new R7 R9 series could release with amd in the near future this way you will have a bigger option of gpus if your willing to wait and prices possible could drop on the gpus your looking at as well
