I am a first time builder, and am wondering which part will be the most bottlenecked, which I'm assuming will be the graphics card, and what you think I should use instead. Here's the specs:
CPU: i7-4770k, overclocked to 4.4 Ghz
RAM: 32gb DDR3-1600 Mushkin Silverline memory
MB: ASrock z87 pro3 lga 1150
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 overclocked to 1100Mhz.
Also, I will have an aftermarket CPU cooler, Gelid Solutions, 2000 rpm. If you have any suggestions about an alternative to that, just let me know.

Solution
That cpu wont bottleneck any card in that range, you are clear with the 7950, as well as say a 7970, or a 770 for example. Especially with that large of an OC, there is no chance you have a bottleneck. The gpu is weaker than the cpu, but it is by no means bottlenecked.
Johnny to answer your question too, some models of the i5 processor out perform their i7 counterparts, as their lifespan has been longer lived. Simply put a, say i5 line ups best CPU will out perform the brand new i7s because they have not been refined.

I mean technically the GPU will be bottlnecked. If you want to balance it, go with an i5 and a 7970!

Thanks for the info I havent built a intel system for some time because of the cost factor I can remember building a new pc back in the day when my Intel pent 166 with MMX COST me 464 bucks and a amd k 6 was like 100 bucks So my last build was a 450 pent so its been awhile but I couldnt see any of those chips bottlenecking the gpu on this case myself.

Thank you, and I would have gone with a 7970, but I'm trying to keep below a $1400 budget (I already have some other parts on the list) and the cheapest 7970 I saw was $270, and the 7950 was only $200. I will definitely go with it. Thanks again.
