I just built my first computer, so far everything is working fine, except my VGA monitor won't work if the GPU is powered. I made a mistake and got a GPU that doesn't have a VGA slot. Its a Gigabyte HD 7870 btw. The GPU has several HDMI slots and a DVI-I slot, however my monitor has a VGA and DVI-D slot. I was wondering if it would be better to buy an adapter, and exactly which kind since I have a few options here. I just built this PC for high end gaming and would rather have the option that gets the most out of the GPU. Though I would rather not have to get another monitor.
