I'm trying to reinstall my PC.. i've made a DVD with Windows 7,but i cant boot it from the bios..i know i have to open BIOS (mine is from DELETE),when i open it,i click Boot, but there are these configurations:
*Setup Prompt Timeout
*Bootup Numlock State
*Boot Success Deep
*GateA20 Active
*Option ROM Message
*Interrupt 19 Capture
*BIOS Flash protection
*Boot Option #1
*Boot Option #2
*CD/DVD Rom Drive BBS Priorities
*Hard Drive BBS Priorities...

about those boot options, and cd/dvd functions, when i click on them, its selected a SATA Connectors, and i can only dissable them :(:(. ive watched few videos on youtube, how to boot, but there are different functions in the "Boot" Menu:
*Boot Device priority
*Hard disk drives
*Floppy drives
*CDROM drives

Why my BIOS is different ? and how to make the disk bootable please anyone help??? :(

Hi Ludogorets.

In the "Boot" section of the BIOS Configuration:

Boot Option #1
This is where you set the first boot device.

Boot Option #2
This is where you set the second boot device.

So if you want to boot from a CD or DVD, make sure Boot Option #1 is set to your CD/DVD drive (entry may show as actual make & model).

Altrnatively, most BIOSes these days allow you to bring up a fast-access boot device menu by pressing a specific key (usually an F key) at boot time, so you don't have to go into BIOS Setup at all for that purpose. It doesn't change the first boot device permanently, it's just a "one off" for that boot process. Look at your splash screen to see if it says something like "Press F11 for boot menu" (it may not be F11 on your PC, it is on mine).

In the Boot options 1 and 2 are the SATA connectors, and i can only select the "Sata" or disable it,no CD or DVD selectable, and i couldnt find a boot menu :(

Well there must be a boot sequence editor in there somewhere.

Did you try my alternative suggestion, look at the boot splash-screen for which key to press to bring up a boot-device menu?
That avoids having to mess with the BIOS settings altogether.

On my PC, I press F11 at the splash-screen to bring up the boot-device menu. Yours may be different.
