Hi guys,
I have been having problems with my pc recently. I will be in the middle of a game and my pc will just restart. No bsod or anything.
I have gone into settings and turned off 'Automaticaly restart' but still nothing.

A couple of months ago, I was having problems where my pc would say that Anti surge was triggered, and suddenly it stopped.

Could this be the same thing, but now i am not getting any error messages, just restarting?

Thanks!

Sounds like your power supply went out the door, more then likely it got an overage and couldn't handle it. Its a good thing your surge protector stopped it out more then likely you would've fried your computer. In the future reference this before you buy power supplies.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I can turn my pc back on straight away like nothing has happened. This build is only a couple of months old so surely my psu cant be dead already?

I am running:
AMD fx 6300
Radeon 7870

My psu: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-cooler-master-thunder-b500-b-series-85-eff-120mm-silent-pwm-fan-green-erp-psu

I know my psu isnt the best, thats all i could afford at the time.
But surely 500w would be enough for this build?

Thanks

500W (or greater) power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended7

600W power supply (or greater) with four 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors recommended for AMD CrossFire™ technology.
NOTE: Minimum recommended system power supply wattage is based on the specific graphics card and the typical power requirements of other system components. Your system may require more or less power. OEM and other pre-assembled PCs may have different power requirements.

My guess would be that either a cable is loose inside it or it has become unstable since that surge, or that you are peaking out your power supply so it has no choice to shut down. Either of the 3 ways you need a new one. Cool master power supplies are junk.

Ok, i will give that a try.
I will see if i can borrow a psu off one of my friends before i buy a new one!

Is there a power supply you would recommend? Needs to be about £50. Dont know that in dollars, sorry.
