I'm looking to build a new desktop soon(first full pc build) and I'm shopping around for motherboards. I plan on using a mid tower case (NZXT Phantom 410) and i'm trying to stick to a green and black color scheme. I have been looking at the G1 sniper m5 board because it seems like a good alternative to the more expensive g1 sniper 5 with 1 less pci slot and a few less usb 3.0 ports. Does the g1 sniper 5 have something more I'm missing? Is it a bad idea to use a micro-atx board in a case that will support a full atx board? Will this board support 2 graphics cards and a sound card? I started considering it because I saw some of the full tower combo deals on newegg come with the g1 sniper m5. I'm open to suggestions as well (i've used laptops exclusively for the last 5 years and I'm not that familiar with desktop parts.) I'd like to be able to max out games at 1080p(may upgrade to 1440p or 1600p later on) and overclock everything.

Solution
There's not much difference, but if you plan on OCing, mATX boards are smaller so generally they have less power phases.
I prefer sticking to ATX boards, but in the end it's your call :)
