They basically just browse the internet and read emails. I built a gaming system earlier this year with the help of people on here and was wondering if anyone could help me pick parts for a cheap system just for basically email and internet browsing. I already have a keyboard, mouse and monitor. Probably wanna spend around 300 or lower if possible without the OS.

The AMD Integrated graphics is not too bad, but it does subtract some system resources. I added a $30, 1GB GT 240 to a 3-core AMD system used for similar purposes(it was using AMD 7025 IG)- and on Passmark the rating went from 262 to 1394 mainly as a result of the 3D score rising from 24 to 640. I tried the revised system with Sketchup and the 3D modeling worked just fine!

Cheers,

Don't need to spend a lot to get a fast basic system.
