If I upgrade from 9500 GT to HD7750 on my PC, will it make a difference?

I have not been following the computer/video card performance stuff for many many years so here is my situation.

I am now using a desktop PC with AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Thuban 2.6GHz, 8GB DDR3 RAM, and 9500 GT video card. The 9500GT came with the PC 3 years ago, and I was able to play most of the game being released during the past 4 years, but now I'm having trouble running newest released game even with all graphic setting turned to lowest sitting.

And I rather prefer not to buy a new computer now due to various reasons. What I want to know is, from that system that I have, is the biggest bottleneck the 9500GT graphic card? If so, if I only spend $75 dollars to replace it with HD 7770, will I see a performance increase to at least hold me over for the next 2 years with gaming? That is play the latest game with lowest graphic setting.

Or even changing from 9500GT to 7770 won't matter, because the CPU and RAM is too old?

Any expert opinion would greatly appreciated.

The 9500GT was actually a very entry level only card for gaming when it came out. A7750 is a huge upgrade and will fit nicely with the rest of your system. It is at least twice as fast in the worst case, and 3 times as fast in most cases. You will see a difference you will be quite happy with.
