  1. From my experience, Corsair cases are of higher quality than Cooler Master. The 600T also has a longer warranty and USB3.0 on the front I/O which is pretty key at this point in the game.

Imho it all comes down to looks. Both of these cases are roomy, they can accomodate watercooling setups (i know you said you're interested, just mentioning it) and support lots of fans and SSDs.

If you're interested, I've done a small presentation of the 690 III here, you might want to check it out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1811792/690-iii-short-presentation-build-log.html

Having used both of them, I'd go for the 690 III since I like it better. 2xUSB3.0 ports in front panel, three removable dust filters, HDD/SSD combo cage with EZ tray design and 240mm rad support. But again, as I said, it all comes down to your taste :)

I've used both of these cases and the build quality is fairly similar. The 690 III also has two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports in the front panel :)

I must have seen an older version. Yeah, I've used both brands, not models in particular, and found CM lacking in some areas, but it seems like their newer stuff is a little more solid.
  4. neither. spend your money on a 7870 instead and get a case like the 300R. cases dont do a crap. a higher end GPU will have an effect

Hi. I had a Corsair 600T for all of 2 days. I sent it back because it had terrible build quality. It was like 80% cheap plastic. What shocked me most was that the case kept bending and flexing under the weight of my rig!. Even the side panels would not close properly. I went back to my coolermaster storm trooper. However, the airflow in that is not so great because of the damn huge HDD cages. I have been considering the CM 690-III for a while and took the plunge, now that it is coming with a CM Seidon 120mm AIO liquid cooler. All this for just £80. However, the 690-III is smaller than the storm trooper internally, BUT the 690-III has removable HDD/SSD cages so it wont block the front fans. Worth testing out and if it can keep my SLI rig cool, then I will keep it. I will never use anything from Corsair. Their stuff is crap.
