Hi all,

My system config:
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H motherboard
Core i7-4770K
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB F3-2133C9D-16GXH ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231571 )

The memory is 2 x 8 GB sticks. When I install them in the 2nd and 4th slot from the CPU, the system does not boot (I get a code 15 and a boot loop).

When I put the sticks of ram right next to each other, the system boots properly. From what I understand, however, this is not the ideal configuration.

I have tested another memory pulled from a working system and can confirm it will NOT boot in slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 with the other ram.

Currently no other peripherals are in the system. Just the mobo, CPU, memory, and PS/2 keyboard for testing.

Any suggestions? RMA the board?

Yes, still no boot.

If I switch the board into single bios mode, it does not boot loop. Still not display, but I'm left with a code 15.
