H100i future compatibility

I am thinking on buying the H100i but since it costs a lot of money , i dont want to have to replace it in a couple of years . Will it be compatible with the future sockets of both AMD and Intel ?

I would say so. As long as the general shape and size of CPUs don't change all they have to do if current brackets don't fit a new socket is release a compatibility kit with new brackets.
