ram for asus m5a99fx pro r2.0

hi my build is a asus m5a99fx pro r.20 , xfx dd r7870 taiti le , xfx 850 w psu , rip jawsf3-17000cl11d-8gbxl

I have a ram question i bought this ram since the qvl list for my board was very limited for 2133 mhz ram and it was not on the list , the ram is stable but
i had pc worlds best ddr3 1333 mhz in the pc ,when i do a benchmark on passmark software i don't find a huge improvement in my new ram, my cpu is over clocked to 4.8ghz stable with a evo 212 cooler (thanks for the recommendation guys) is this just a amd thing or am i better sending it back and trying 2400 mhz ram khx2400klu-4gx(381850 ) off my list or should i not push it any further than 2133 ram. i don't want too much more on my system but i want the fastest ram that i can run but don't want to spend over 120 pound i like to buy from amazon as i'm in Ireland thanks

What is the memory currently running at, can check in CPU-Z in the memory tab, if freq shows 667 it at the default of 1333, 800 would = 1600, 933=1866, 1066 would have it at spec of 2133.......What CPU? at 4.8 guessing it's an 8350, the DRAM might run at 2133 but to be effective will take a CPU/NB voltage increase as well as a DRAM voltage increase in all likelyhood, the 8350 is rated up to 2 sticks of 1866 (and even at that the MC (memory controller can have problems with the freq)

thanks for the reply , yes, sorry it's a fx 6300 piledriver which supports ddr3 2133 mhz ram in cpuz it runing at dual 1070 mhz *2 2140 mhz i loaded it profile from the bios menu ,is it just the ram ant great or was my 1333 mhz just super lol

Well it's running at 2140, might try raising the CPU/NB voltage to say 1.25 and see if things improve any, the MC (memory controller) may be straining to carry the sticks

should i keep this ram rip jawsf3-17000cl11d-8gbxl or send it back and pay a little more and get ddr 2400 4x 2gb which is om my qvl list , Or can some recommend the fastest ram for my motherboard that does'nt cost too much (as the gskills for €260 as been way too expensive on my list) .I'll give you the info on the ram kingston khx2400c11d3k4/8gx(xmp) motherboard asus m5a99fx pro r2.0 thanks guys

What CPU? haven't seen any any AMDs that could reliably run 2400, as is your MC may be strainging with the sticks you have

its in my post as i said it a fx6300 with support for ddr3 2133 mhz i don't think it straning as it stable in games and passmark burn in test and in amd overdrive stability test , i can send the ram back and if you could advise what would be the best fastest ram for my board that is recomanded that would be a great help but i ant paying 250 euro for it any advice would be very help full thanks rowan
