Are you kidding me low durability? I run 4 SSD's in the 3 computers I own all Samsung Evo's and guess what I have never had a problem. The Adata is the one i wouldn't trust, They fail a lot, besides samsung makes some of the best electronics around even for computers.

SSD have a limited number of read and write cycles, once there out of them there done, that is why they are used for operating systems and programs, and or games, not for storage. Anyways you will have good luck with the EVO. I would trust the EVO far more then the A-data one.

Hey, there's a reason Samsung offer a 3 year warranty on their EVO products! they trust their product for 3 years.

If you're worried you could get a Samsung 840 pro, Samsung are so damn confident of their reliability they gave them a 5 year warranty!

I fully understand your misgivings, as early SSD technology was troublesome.

However, Samsung, while late to the game, have proven themselves coming later to the game but offering a far more reliable solution is a tried and tested method.

Like yourself I was worried about reliability so waited until earlier this year and forked out 300 bucks for a 128GB samsung SSD pro because in tests, they were both the fastest and more reliable.

The Sandisk Extreme II is a solid performer:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sandisk-extreme-ii-...

very similar performance to the Samsung Evo.

Fair enough, either way you're going to strap a rocket to your current PC performance. Thank you for chosing me as your best answer, and enjoy your purchase.
