today i just bought a new psu. coolmaster elite 460w. and its a bit warm inside the case. the psu however is warmer than everything else. not hot, but super warm. is it suppose to be warm?
according to speccy, with chrome, c9(game) and spotify, im running 40C cpu, 42C mobo, and 54C gpu and 31C HDD

Solution

Better than carpet but wood is still a great insulator. The aim is to improve the gap between the floor and The bottom of your case. If you have 2 bits of 2x4 that you can put across the front and back of your case (underneath) you should be more than okay.

Full system details (components and case, including fan positions).

Improvise. An inch is all you need. Alternatively you could flip your PSU 180.
