I'm going to be upgrading my graphics card come this October with the release of the R9 280X and I'm unsure as to what to do with my old cards (2 6870s). I was going to put them on EBay, but I'm a little wary. I haven't done much research yet into how much current 6870s are going for, so I was gonna put it somewhere around $150-$200 for both (they're 3 years old and I ran them pretty hard). Anyway, my question is if anyone has any experience with buying/selling used cards on Ebay? Is it good? Have you ran into any problems? I just have a terrible feeling that I'm going to get a buyer who has zero clue about computers, and because they don't know what they're doing (bottlenecking, small PSU, wrong PCI slot), that I'm going to get blamed and will have to refund them. If anyone has tips on how to sell used cards, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I've sold a few cards on ebay. My advice is take pictures of everything, serial numbers, their condition, you packaging them etc. Also, if anyone claims it's not working ask for it to be sent back, it will cost you a little on postage if they were telling the truth, but if they were just trying to get away with a free card, it often puts an end to it.
