Please guys help me out.
My pc is HP Pavilion p6511In.
Has an integrated graphics card,G41 Express Chipset by intel.
So basically,i got this new card,AMD HD7450.I set it up in the PCI-E express.
I start my pc with it,the fans on the graphic card, start running, and it seems good. The pc starts but when the desktop shows, its like SAFE MODE,800x600!
I am really confused,i searched Device manager,it said "Standard VGA stuff.
I tried installing the HD7xxxx,6xxxx,5xxxx drivers, and installed it,but it installs without error, doesnt ask me for a reboot and does absolutely nothing.Still the device manager shows VGA.I dont know why it isint working.I tried downloading a few other drivers for HD7450,no luck.
Any solutions?

P.S : I do not have the box or the driver cd aswell

Install the drivers and then restart, should fix the problem. Download them from the AMD website or use the driver disc.

The card wouldnt be that great for gaming tho if thats what youre after. If you just want a display it would work great.

I have tried installing the Drivers,as i said.
AMD does not specify the model of my graphic card.I tried installing the HD7XXX series drivers, but the installer just runs clean and does not show any error messages. But when i restart, its still the same thing as before.
Any solution? Still Standard VGA

The resolution,can be shifted from 800x600 to a pesky 1028 x 768 ONLY.
I tried replacing the graphic card, again and again, same no luck.

I have fixed this problem now, thank you for your help.
If someone is struggling with a same,or similar problem, this is how i fixed it.
Though this method wont install any AMD graphics control panel thingy.

Alright so,first i went to the Device manager and checked,it was Standard VGA cable.
I shutdown the system, went to setup(F10) ,then to advanced and switched my primary video adapter to PCI-E.
Restart, still it was standard VGA,so i went to device manager, right clicked the VGA,and clicked update, then manual browsing.
Then,i downloaded the new beta drivers by AMD,clicked the Have Disk, button in update drivers, and selected Display > xxxx.inf and then it gave me a list of display drivers.
Just simply chose mine, restarted and voila! Works like a charm.
But there is no Graphic Properties thingy, thats sad.
