I have the option to get the i7 4770k or the 9590.
I am selling my 8350 to my brother who is buelding a pc. So if i want i can get the 9590 for the same price as it would be for me to get the i7 4470k. They have a combo deal on the 9590 on newegg and i would take the cpu and my brother would take the rest of the parts. So its a good deal.

Or i can sell him my motherboard and the cpu and go the intel route.

Both would cost me the same amount of money.

So it is intel i7 s 9590 at the same price. What should i get?

Actualy i was a little bit off.
It will cost me. 350 dollars to upgrade to i7 from my 8350 and it would cost me
250 dollars to upgrade from my 8350 to the 9590. Maybe even 200 dollars for the 9590 option. I really do want good performence tho. I like i said i will be doing sli and playing on 2560x1440p Monitor. I will be playing arma 3 Battlefield 4.

The 9590 is basically an overclocked 8150 that comes with a better heatsink.

The 8370 is basically an overclocked 8100 that comes with a better heatsink.

If you do the benchmark math, the 8350 will give you better performance clocked @ 4.7 than the 9590, or the 8370 @ 4.3. Right now the fastest processor that AMD makes is the 8350.

They use similar marketing strategies with their other CPUs. Lookup the "CPU Model Family" of any AMD processor before you buy it. If you have an 8350, keep it and buy a water cooler and a mother board that supports overclocking.

As an owner of a 9590, I would steer clear. Even out of the box they can be unstable and temperamental. The also require huge amounts of power and cooling. I spent the first week with my 9590 trying to make it stable with default settings. If you google 9590 freezing you will see this is a widespread problem.
