Hello, I have Currently have A Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler. It worksok, But I'm not happy with the temps I'm getting, And It takes 2 Of my ram slots(I have 4, and I have brought a 32gb kit 4x8) So I have two options, I could get a corsair h60(54$) And put 2 2000rpm max fans(22$) on it, Costing a total of around 80$. Or, I could get a Thermaltake NiC F4 ( high performance Air cpu cooler (comes with 2 2000rpm fans) Only costing 40$. They will both allow me to have enough space for all my ram and seem to be able to give me good temps. I want to go with the Themaltake, because its cheaper, but I dont want to sacrifice Performance. Thanks For any Ideas.

Solution
another option is to raise the fan on the EVO, it's adjustable, I run Tridents under my EVO on my IB rig, the 212 is better than the H60 (need a H100 to top it), haven't tried a NIC F4 yet so no real idea on it, (sorry bout that)

Personally I got two H100i's to cool my FX-8350 and i5 3570K. Got them in January and the one on the Fx-8350 had the LED lights go out after about two months a month or two after that both of the pumps quit working on them. I have since went for a full custom water cooling loop with XSPC 750 EX 360 water cooling kits much better rev. 4 pump version.

Personally if you want to do water cooling go all the way or stay on air cooling.
