Hello,
I just bought a HP Compaq 6200 pro SFF PC x64 based Windows 7 Professional Intel Core i(5)-2400 @ 3.10 GHz Quad Core. My friend told me that the motherboard was a micro ATX and that I should buy a ATX mid tower to put my motherboard and new power supplies in so that I can run games better on the desktop. I bought a new ATX mid tower from NewEgg but the motherboard wasn't compatible (meaning it seemed as if all of the parts on the motherboard were backwards). Does anybody know what cases are compatible with the motherboard? Thanks alot.

It appears your friend was wrong. It appears the HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF uses a BTX form factor motherboard; which isn't in widespread use anymore. You may find some on e-bay.

Thanks for that. He told me I needed an ATX case. I will try and find a BTX instead.

The HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF is indeed a BTX board. The layout is basically backwards to fit any ATX case. It also used a proprietary HP Power Supply with a 6 pin power connector instead of the usual 24 pin power connector. Besides the normal 4 pin connector to the CPU there is another power connection to the motherboard similar to the old P1 connectors for external devices. Power to the drives comes from 2 4-pin square black connectors on the motherboard.
