So you have one computer with two network cards, with one slot going to an internet connection, and the other going to your 2nd pc? I want to make sure I understand the setup first, because this can be answered with several methods depending on how you get internet to the first computer. Is there any particular reason you do not want to use a router/switch setup for a home network?[/quotemsg
WHAT I HAVE IS 2 COMPUTERS, MAIN ONE BIN MY ROOM AND IS CONNECTED TO INTERNET,THE SECOND ONE IN IN THE LIVING ROOM , WHICH IS CONNECTED BY ETHERNET CABLE. I THOUGHT BY NETWORKING THEM I COULD ACCESS THE INTERNET THRU THE MAIN COMPUTER, WITHOUT HAVING TO DISABLE AND MOVE MY WIRELESS
CONNECTOR TO THE OTHER COMPUTER, I HAVE ONLY 1 WIRELESS ADAPTER. I DO BELIEVE THAT I CAN DO THIS, BUT I'M HAVING A PROBLEM, IT SAYS UNPLUGGED,CHANGING CABLES DID NOT HELP.
