can't access 7500 westell modem

Hi my friend has a westell modem and can't get in it. He used 192.168.0.1 and 1.1 and no luck. He said that the guy from century link put a password in it. So what can he do to login........thanks two-dogs

While connected to the main router go Start then Run in XP - (Windows key plus R in Vista and Windows 7), then type in the following, including all the spaces:- cmd /k ipconfig /all -- then press Enter and from the black form that shows up, take a note of the numeric code beside the word "gateway" -- usually something like 192.168.0.1. Type exit to close the black form.

check the numbers again there are to many.

there are three sets of internal IP scheme:

10.xxx.xxx.xxx
172.16.xxx.xxx
192.168.xxx.xxx

ok I have remote access and it is 10.0.0.1 for the default gateway
