Gaming is the first geting adventage but there are others concerns for instance
1- integrated graphics use RAM memory, so geting a graphics card you will free your principal RAM
2- integrated graphics also take advantage of dual channel arquitecture,so it slow down your computer overall performance)
3- you also will get a more relaxed CPU, cause GPU will compute all related to multimedia (gaming,video editing,etc)
4- Besides there are some softwares that requires powerful GPU such as CAD or others 3D softwares, Remember HD4600 is still very very basic

in my opinion a graphics card is a very important part in PC, experience is the best teacher,so try geting a card and feel it

1. ur PC can't display anything on the screen without a GPU or Integrated Graphics
2. for watching videos/movies
3. for parallel processing applications in heavy workloads such as video editing the hundreds of stream processors on a GPU are useful

i meant for example a i5 4670 has inbuilt hd 4600 so is there any advantage other than gaming if we add a graphics card like gtx 650?

The advantage is majority in gaming. If all you are going to do is flash games or web browsing the integrated graphics will work. Having the dedicated card is always the better option. If you have the money get one, if not, the integrated can do most non gaming needs. Any video work or modeling the graphics card is needed as well.
